Data Deletion

You can revoke Mushin Earth Publisher at any time and request deletion of information tied to the authorized Instagram or Threads profile. You never need to send us a password, access token, or authentication code.

1. Revoke platform access

  1. Sign in to the Instagram or Threads profile that authorized Mushin Earth Publisher.
  2. Open the profile's Apps and websites or Website permissions settings. Meta may change the exact menu name.
  3. Find Mushin Earth Publisher and choose Remove or Revoke access.

Revocation invalidates the authorization and prevents Mushin Earth Publisher from making additional API requests for that profile.

2. Request deletion of remaining records

Contact Mushin Code using the support contact on the Terremoto, Incendio, or Erupción store listing, or through mushin.dev. Use the subject “Mushin Earth data deletion” and include:

  • The Instagram or Threads username that authorized the integration.
  • A statement that you want Mushin Earth Publisher data deleted.
  • A way for us to confirm that you control or manage the identified profile.

Do not include your Meta password, an access token, a recovery code, or any other secret. We may request a non-secret verification step before acting on the request.

What we delete

After a verified request, we delete or irreversibly disassociate:

  • Stored Meta access tokens and authorization metadata for the profile.
  • Platform-scoped profile identifiers and profile details retained for publishing.
  • Publisher records tied only to that profile, except records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Residual encrypted backups may persist until their ordinary rotation, during which they are not used for publishing.

Previously published posts

Deleting publisher records does not automatically delete posts already published to Instagram or Threads, because those posts are stored by Meta. An administrator can delete them directly from the relevant social profile. If a deletion request should also identify particular published posts, list them in the request.
